Doctor Ashley Eavenson, D.C.

Dr. Eavenson is a native of Granite City, IL. She has been in practice since 2011 when she graduated with her doctorate from Logan University. Prior to that, she finished 2 bachelor's degrees studying at Saint Louis University and Logan University.

Currently, she is enrolled in the Institute of Functional Medicine as she believes this is the way of the future.

Dr. Eavenson has discovered that her love and passion is functional rehabilitation and functional medicine. Dr. Eavenson loves mastering the puzzle of why we have pain, dysfunction, and chronic disease. She also loves to empower patients to take control of their health. Some of the training and techniques she utilizes in her practice include, but are not limited to: dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, motion palpation, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, selective functional movement assessment systems, active release techniques, dry needling, functional range conditioning, and functional medicine.

Doctor Jonathon Brooks, D.C.

Dr. Jonathon Brooks has been part of the Multicare Specialists Team since 2010; he feels there is no other office that can help a patient so precisely, quickly, and effectively as Multicare Specialists. Dr. Brooks has been a Doctor of Chiropractic since August 2010. He received his graduate education at Logan College of Chiropractic from August 2005 to August 2010. He completed his prerequisites at Southwestern Illinois College and St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Dr. Brooks uses the Diversified method in his chiropractic practice. He has always enjoyed sports medicine and acute pain management. His passion for athletics has led him to become the team physician for Granite City Senior High School. While Dr. Brooks enjoys treating patients in the office environment, he also likes to be on the sidelines of games at the high school. When not at the office, Dr. Brooks enjoys Being Active. He currently competes in many endurance races/competitions throughout the country. His favorite areas are Montana and Utah.

Doctor Kevin Bell, MD

Dr. Kevin Bell has been part of the Multicare Specialists Team since 2001. Dr. Bell has always enjoyed family practice medicine and dermatology because of the variety of conditions it brings through the door everyday. Dr. Bell has been a Doctor of Medicine since 1996. He received his graduate education at the University of Missouri-Colombia. When not at the office, Dr. Bell enjoys working on cars, swimming, and spending time with his family.

Amanda Basham, MSN,

APRN, FNP-BC

Amanda is our family nurse practitioner. She completed her master’s family nurse practitioner program at Maryville university, graduating with honors and is ANCC board certified. She has been working in healthcare for 17 years holding several different roles. Amanda is a compassionate and caring provider who has always had the desire to help make peoples’ lives better and loves seeing her patients reach their healthcare goals. When Amanda is not in the office She loves spending time camping with her husband and two sons.

Corey Voss

Corey is a Physical therapist with 30 years of experience and is a constant source of enthusiastic healing in our office. Corey takes pride in the Multicare Specialists physical therapy space, and he makes sure to use all of the technology to his patients’ advantage. Corey Graduated from St. Louis University where he played soccer. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutics, while also understanding medical understanding is an ongoing process. Therefore, he constantly attends continuing education classes that benefit Multicare Specialists’ patients. Outside of work, Corey enjoys exercising, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Tate Merten

Tate has been a Licensed Certified Athletic Trainer since 1988. He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1988 with a degree in Corporate Fitness/ Cardiac Rehabilitation with a specialization in Athletic Training. In 1989, Mr. Merten started his professional career in Livonia, Michigan working for two high schools. He graduated from Indiana State University in 1991 with a Master's Degree in Athletic Training. After graduation, he worked as an outreach athletic trainer for Round Lake High School via Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois. After a hospital merger, he was fortunate to work for Granite City High School for 23 years. In 2018, he joined Multicare Specialists family.

During Mr. Merten's 30 plus years he has worked with professional tennis, football, and baseball players, numerous collegiate athletes of all sports, and countless numbers of high school athletes. He has past certifications as an American College of Sports Medicine Fitness Instructor and National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Mr. Merten has volunteered for many high school, collegiate, and international athletic competitions. Highlighted by the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships, NCAA Division Il National Track and Field Championships, Jackie Joyner-Kersee International Track and Field Meet, and is a current member of the IHSA Individual State Wrestling Medical team.

Our caring and skilled providers are all currently accepting new patients. They specialize in treatments for family medical needs, back pain, plantar fasciitis, shoulder rehabilitation, post-surgical rehab, post-op rehab, gait training, core strengthening, sports therapy, pelvis floor, instrument assisted soft tissue massage (IASTM), pain management, joint pain, work conditioning, work hardening, and more. The office also stocks and offers a variety of high-quality nutritional supplements.
