Doctor Ashley Eavenson, D.C.

Dr. Ashley Eavenson knew she wanted to be a chiropractor her freshman year at St. Louis University. While taking numerous personality tests in her Career Decision Making Class, her results repeatedly pointed her to health care. She then went to listen to her father speak at Logan University, his alma mater, and she was extremely impressed with positive energy and enthusiasm exuding from the audience full of up and coming doctors.

Dr. Eavenson definitely made her own mark at Logan University. She was the first intern at the Community Health in Partnership Services serving low income underserved and underinsured patients. Through her work at her internship and now her practice, Dr. Eavenson has discovered that her love and passion is functional rehabilitation. Dr. Eavenson believes that our bodies were designed to move, and she loves mastering the puzzle of why we have pain and dysfunction. Some of the training and techniques she utilizes in her practice includes, but is not limited to: dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, motion palpation, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, selective functional movement assessment systems, and active release techniques.

Truly feeling like she is making a difference and changing lives is why Dr. Eavenson does what she does every day. She once had a patient who suffered paralysis in his should following a motorcycle accident, and he though he would never be able to use his arm again. After she worked with him for approximately three months, this patient was able to reach his arm above his head. Patient care is Dr. Eavenson’s first priority, which is something that carries throughout the entire practice

Dr. Ashley Eavenson is proud to work at a healthcare facility focused on providing the best possible patient care, where their office encompasses several different disciplines to meet the needs of their patient population.
